Last weekend 8 sorority women from the University of Pennsylvania gathered together for “Sexxy Saturday.”  All had heard the message that “pre-marital sex is bad,” but none were sure why it was bad…and they wanted to know! Together we learned about God’s perspective and plan for sex and marriage, we reflected on our own journeys, and we established some next steps. This proved to be an amazing day where all grew in their understanding of who God is and who He calls us to be. One senior asked “How can I renew my virginity?” Another student later remarked, “I never understood why God doesn’t want me to have sex, but now I do. I’ve told my boyfriend that we won’t be sleeping together anymore.” These young women are interested not in following the rules, but in growing closer to Jesus and growing in their love for Him. Praise God for the work He is doing!
