“Jesus Christ Said, ‘Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will go in and eat with him, and he with me.’ I have heard Christ’s voice all my life. I grew up listening to the written and spoken word. In my confirmation into the Lutheran Church I opened the door. For the longest time I had left Him outside in the cold and it wasn’t until Saturday at Greek Conference that I finally invited Jesus into my heart and my home. At first, I was a little apprehensive of going to GC. I thought that it was only for liberal, touchy-feely Christians. In my small group I was introduced to the concept of having a personal relationship with Christ and I realized that that I wanted and needed that in my life. I am truly glad and truly blessed that I put my reservations aside and went to Greek Conference!”

“God convicted me about the way I try to influence my sisters in a spiritual way. I’ve learned that I need to be bolder with people in my chapter and maybe even put myself into uncomfortable situations in order to reach the lost. I need to stop caring what other people think or want from me and work on following His calling no matter what.”

“The Lord taught me that I have the talent to lead my sisters, make an impact in my sorority and change my campus. I want to start a Bible study in Tri Delt and help start Greek IV on my campus.”

“God met me at GC this year for the first time! Its like I knew about him, and now I know him! It is a great thing to realize the difference! My life is completely altered because of conference!”

“I went into Greek conference not really knowing what to expect. When I left, my direction in life made a lot more sense. The whole conference definitely made me re-think what I wanted out of life. What gets me the most excited since conference are the times when I’m having a genuine one on one conversation with God, just me and God. If I can give that same thing to my brothers in my fraternity, that unreal and almost imperceptible connection between creator and created, well I think that would put me over the edge. I want to do that and through the Conference my Greek IV chapter here at the University of Virginia is helping me figure out how to do just that.”

“I’m starting to feel more and more drawn to God and this weekend makes me really want to become a Christian. I’ve decided I want to talk about the Bible more with my Christian fraternity brothers and start going to Church.”
